Geofire, the home of product brands Agrippa and Salamander, began life in 1972 and has, since then, been designing and manufacturing a wide range of electromagnetic activation devices, ranging from fire door holders and closers to smoke curtain releasers and roof vent winches.

We export and distribute our fire safety products across the world.

Our manufacturing facilities were purpose built to meet the existing and future capacity demands of the business and the capability for large or small volume orders. We continue to invest in the latest CNC machinery to improve efficiency and have a clear focus on continuous improvement in lean and efficient cellular manufacturing.

We now manufacture some of our Geofire Products at our 100% owned British Engines Group facility in Bangalore, India.

The 7,000sqft manufacturing facility is equipped with identical CNC capability and cutting tool technology, plus rigorous quality control measures that are time proven in our UK facility. This ensures that our fire door retainers meet the required standards.

Both the UK and India facilities are audited and approved by Bureau Veritas for ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 and Warrington Fire for the EN1155 FPC.

Research and development is key to our business strategy, ensuring we lead the way in new innovations.
