Geofire manufactures a large wide range of electromagnetic door holders and other activation devices used widely as part of a fire, security or ventilation system. These range from fire door holders and closers to smoke curtain releasers and shutter locks.
The products enable fire doors to be legally held in an open position to give ease of access through a building, in compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act. These include the 'Wire Free' SALAMANDER - a system of battery powered, electromagnetic fire door holders linked by radio signals to a central controller.
They are all robustly designed for wall, floor or ceiling mounting in a variety of finishes including decorative, to match the decor of current and new buildings. The high quality of the finish ensures that little or no servicing is required once these products are fitted.
For new buildings - we recommend Geofire's conventional wired versions. For refurbishment - we recommend Geofire's 'Wire Free' SALAMANDER door holder range.
